There is a calming in me knowing now how much God truly cares. I realize now that it was not a lack of God’s presence all these years, it was a lack of my attention to and recognition of His presence and allowing Him a rightful place in my life. I can only wonder how much better life could be had I had this eye opening take place years ago. One, I could have been a much better example for my kids, family and friends. Two, I think I would have approached business, marriage and life decisions much differently knowing that I have limitations in tolerance and understanding. The good news is my pastor made it clear that it is NEVER too late so long as there is a breath in my lungs. The world is not easy per se and it makes so much more sense now that going through life and enduring the challenges with God at the center of everything improves my odds of handling anything thrown my way. Pray, find a church, seek Him through others, and don’t be afraid to ask tough questions.

Lord thank you for another day of life. Though I anticipate a joyous time after this worldy life I appreciate the time you continue to give me with my family and friends and to share my experiences of your love. Please bless all that take the time to read this and that you may burden the hearts of those that think this is crazy. May that burden cause enough curiosity that they may seek truth. I know now that the truth is available to us if we just seek it. Please bless the pastors as they share your word this Sunday morning that they may instill love, faith and confidence in the hearts of their congregations. Amen

As Jesus said “I am the Way and the Truth and the Light” (John 14:6)
