To believe that everything came from nothing is to believe the impossible. The beauty and complexity of the world had to be designed by a Creator. The evidence is all around you whereas the beauty is not just pleasing to the eye but also of perfect order. Is it so hard to fathom that you have a soul that allows you to see, hear and speak through your body? Is it so hard to fathom that your conscience is indeed your spiritual being? So many suggest that God does not exist. They state “well I believe this or I believe that” but based on what evidence? Just step outside and look around you. The proof is right in front of you. And the explanations are found in your bible. Every book in the bible has been validated for it’s age and origin. And within those pages I am finding so much disclosure of things that were to come…that have come too be.
To admit to be a sinner and then to fathom the thought of being judged for every action and thought can be a deterrment from choosing to investigate further. But if you take the time to truly understand you will come to see that God is a just Judge. He does not desire illwill for anyone but rather eternal salvation.
I always questioned the concept of “just ask for forgiveness and it will be.” So my struggle was that it seemed like there was justification to live however I wanted if all I had to do was apologize to God. But over the last few weeks I have found more clarity. Jesus stated that the road to salvation is through repentance and faith. Speak to God, admit you are a sinner, ask God to forgive your sins, accept that He sent Jesus Christ to us to die on a cross as penalty for our sin so that we may seek Him and be forgiven and that he rose again, defeating death to make a place of eternal life for those who believe. And declare your belief in Him. From the day that you seek repentance you are a new person spiritually. Will you continue to sin? Of course. But these sins of your new spiritual beginning will be judged but you will still see eternal life with Him. This is the road I have chosen with the Free Will that God allowed. The path is not difficult though you will feel challenged to be better and to avoid sin as best as you can.
Lord may you burden the hearts of those that take the time to read about my journey. May they feel compelled to seek you and find peace as they come to recognize your presence. Thank you for providing your Word so that we may have a roadmap to salvation. And please forgive me for all of the years I continued on with my life in denial. Amen.
