I struggle to take things at face value. I have begun attending church for guidance. Since beginning this journey at LifeChurch StHelen (fomerly Faith Alive) I have found that though the pastor’s sermons are full of hard truths the advantage of congregating with others provides an added layer of peace and confidence. When I leave Sunday services I feel enlightened but usually full of more questions. I want to know. I want to understand. There is far too much that man struggles to know. So after church I take the lesson provided and I research it myself. I begin by opening my bible and reading. I seek guidance through prayer and if all else fails I reach out to the pastor for additional guidance and understanding. Life is short. I have understood God’s presence for decades but lived without fear. After my accident a year ago in which I nearly died I realize just how important it is to be informed and to understand powers beyond my comprehension. I am proud to have Jesus as a part of my life. I also feel a sense of relief. If you struggle to understand. If you are curious, please find a church that resonates with your heart. You will know after a couple sermons. Ask questions, pray and read your bible. I promise if you make a sincere effort to know Jesus you will find answers.
Heavenly Father thank you for another day of life. Thank you for another opportunity to learn and understand your grace. Bless the pastors today as they spread your word and open doors to your forgivenss and salvation. Thank you for sending your son, Jesus, to bear the weight of my sins so that I may find salvation in your love. Amen.
May your day be blessed and your pains and struggles subside through God’s grace and mercy.
