Jesus Was Born to Die — Are You Living for Him?
As Christmas approaches, many focus on the manger—but few stop to ask why Jesus came at all.
This message looks beyond the nativity and points directly to the purpose of Christ’s birth: the cross.
Jesus was not born to be admired, celebrated, or sentimentalized. He was born to be our Savior. From the moment He entered the world, the cross was in view—and that truth demands a response from every one of us.
In this sermon, we walk through Scripture to show:
-Why the cradle was never the end goal
-How the cross was always part of God’s plan
-Why salvation is personal, not just universal
-Why cultural Christianity loves baby Jesus but resists the Lordship of Christ
-And the question we all must answer: If He died for you, are you living for Him?
This is not a Christmas tradition message—it is a gospel call.
Not to religion.
Not to sentiment.
But to repentance, surrender, and new life in Christ.
