Even as I walk in my faith more and more each day I struggle with doubts. Doubts regarding my decisions, doubts regarding optimism. I question and then question again everything I am doing in my life right now. And while trying to make decisions that are beneficial to my livelihood I think of my dad’s sudden death and how life really is so short. Sometimes it makes me wonder if I am just spinning my wheels for nothing as the end result of all of our wordly efforts remain here after we are gone. I am leaning more and more on God’s will and asking regularly if I am making a wise decision. The result thus far is an inner reassurance I feel that everything will be okay…no matter what happens. I do know that the opportunities of recent were not my doing. They just happened. I asked God to help me through the constant struggles. “In my distress I prayed to the Lord and the Lord answered me and set me free.” I believe the new location is God’s will. I believe that He created an opportunity to grow and created an opportunity for my employee to move closer to her family. Some people think I am spreading myself thin by expanding but as Psalm 119:8 says “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people.”

If you are struggling with decisions in your life, questioning your purpose, and doubting your efforts give it to God. Talk to Him daily, even multiple times a day. And read His word. You will find a peace of mind that will help you navigate this rollercoaster we call life. “[His} word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path” Psalm 199:105

The best part of dealing with your day to day struggles is understanding that though we must work and thrive in society to make ends meet we can do so knowing that through Jesus Christ we can seek salvation and look forward to an eternity of peace and love. “For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) Work hard, keep trying, never quit. You will achieve all that God has planned for you and then be rewarded with eternal peace for your faith.
