What is it about these gracious requirements and gifts that cause some to turn away? None of these are bad or evil. None are impossible feats. None will harm the essence of your own well-being and the quality of your life. Perhaps you fear a change in desires? Is the fulfillment of your desires truly fulfilling or temporary contentment? Knowing that these things are of He whom created you why not dig deeper and seek the peace that is promised? Do you think God is fake? Based on what? Have you looked for evidence or just believe it? Do you think the Bible was just written by man and not inspired by God? Based on what? Have you looked for evidence or just believe it? Do you believe we just happened by chance? That we came from nothing? That death is the end and we no longer exist? Based on what? Have you looked for evidence or just believe it?

Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40
